time out....for Owen

OK, so i survived Monday. It was just not a good day. Tuesday was much better except for this.....
Owen got to experience "time out" for the first time! He threw baby jesus and the sheep from our nativity scene. NOTHING phases this boy. you can tell him NO and he just looks at you and laughs. so, why not start time out. sad thing is, i told him "we do not throw things. you go sit in time out." i took him over to the rug and he just sat there. It's almost like he knew what to do...maybe he has watched big brother go to time out a time or two!

After we got past the throwing of the nativity people, we started putting up a few things on the tree. Ryan was my big helper!

I let him pick out five ornaments and then he and grandma cathy put up the rest while i was running my errands and when owen was down for a nap. I came home to a beautiful tree, decorated by ryan.

And yes, the week did continue to get better. This morning, i fixed a wonderful breakfast!

Eggs, sausage, and Rhodes cinnamon rolls. It may not look that good, but let me tell you, they are wonderful! how can your day go wrong with this breakfast.

I did redeem myself with a more healthy lunch....chicken and veggies (with a littl ranch dressing).

Tomorrow is morning play at sylvester powell community center and then date night for mommy and daddy. Can't end the week any better than that! Will try to remember to take my camera along to document that scott and i actualy went on a date. They are so few and far between these days!!!!
